Hi
I have been looking for a way to capture an asf stream from an IP camera and pipe it to a device on linux i.e /dev/video0 so that I can point zoneminder to the local device.
Will this class be able to assist?

Sadly not I'm afraid. You could theoretically use the class to build your own ffmpeg command to handle it via php, using ffmpeg->addCommand() however I'm not sure that it would work. I don't really have any experience with ip video streams so i can't really help you...
